Located in Corrèze at the gateway to the Dordogne Gorges, midway between the Monédières mountain range and the town of Argentat, Marcillac-la-Croisille boasts some stunning landscapes.

It is classed as a ‘Station Verte’ (green resort) and whether you are a thrill-seeker or a hiking enthusiast, you are guaranteed to find an activity you enjoy! Lake Valette offers a variety of watersports activities and the many hiking trails will enable you to discover the striking beauty of the forests in Corrèze.

Take a deep breath and set off for adventure: rock climbing, geocaching, water tubing and many more exciting activities are out there waiting for you. Allow time also to relax and fish peacefully or bathe in Lake Valette.

Or go back to medieval times when you visit the authentic Tours de Merle and the many chateaux in the area; among these is Sédières with its family activities and festival.

Gain a little height to contemplate the magnificent landscapes, such as the view from Busatier Rock, Gimel waterfalls and Black Rock Viaduct.

Our campsite has direct access to the beach at the lake, with 117 spacious pitches in an area of 3.5 hecatres. It is located in a magnificent wooded park overlooking the lake, and you can choose to stay on a traditional camping pitch or a rental with all the modern comforts (mobile homes, chalets and mini-chalets).

The swimming pool is non heated.

For sheets and towels we charge extra. Children’s bed if available.
